yep, tablet's are some getting used to. I had to go through two of to finally be satisfied with the one I have now! And I love it!
I think the tablet's great. I'm just... not so great... One thing is, I'm constantly trying to set goals for myself that are beyond my capabilities. I also have what I like to call French Artist Syndrome. You know, when you destroy all of your art when you think it's not good enough... I'm trying to break myself of that though.
Okay. Here is the thing, you are still learning how to use your tablet. I only learned how to CG things about 6 months ago and I'm sitting here comparing myself to artists that have been CG-ing things far longer than I have. I'm still learning and I see my progress each and every time I use my tablet or color things on my computer. It just takes practice to color things. For instance, my KisaSaku pic Listen to Me was my first pic I ever did on the computer and most of my gallery stuff is things that I have drawn. Just practice and you'll get tha hang of it! So save your stuff even if you don't like it, mabye on down the road you'll that piece up and tinter with it and get something amazing!!!!!!
That's awesome advice. Thanks. I know I shouldn't be so hard on myself, but sometimes I cant help it... I get really mad at myself later though when I scrap something and cant get it back.
hehe. THat hasn't happened to me before.............well I have had things be almost finished and my computer goes haywire and the thing closes on me. THat 's always fun.
I'm terrible about saving things. I hate it when the computer randomly decides to be stupid because that means that everything I had open is totally gone.
yep. my told me that you save every 5 minutes. And I mean in everything!!!!! In documents, drawings, whatever your working on. It will save you alot of pain. Believe me it will, especially in fanfic's. That is if Word decides to be stupid and say that it wants to start a new document even though you don't need to and so you save over the document you were working one and it deletes the stuff that you recently typed. That happened to me but luckly I wasn't really happy with the way my update of my story KakaSaku fic Metamorphosis. But retyped the story and was happy with it anyway.
I work on a Mac and it has a lot of shortcut keys. I learned the hard way that you need to watch which keys you hit.
