no, not really, it depends so much on the setup of the program itself as well as the mood you're trying to achieve on the image
ah because i was thinking of getting an art program of somesort but i didnt know which one to get because they all came out looking like freaking watercolor but watercolor is not a bad thing i just want one that will suit me, thanks
I find Photoshop being more versatile at the end. Check other atwork at my gallery and give it a try, I was hung to painter XI before, just because the blender tool, but as you say, I didnt want everything to look like the "fresh paint look" so thats why I moved on
