ClayFighter 2 and ClayFighter 63 1/3 were the only games in the series that I remembered playing it once in my life. I don't remember having played the first ClayFighter in my childhood, so I can't compare which one was better between the first and the second. Now that I see that ClayFighter 2 looks like the worst game of the series, I don't believe why did it looked so cool when I was young.
You've got some good points there for the ClayFighter 2 game; the graphics, the design of the characters and the silly backgrounds, maybe that's why I liked that game. But my favourite was ClayFighter 63 1/3, because of the uses of 3D backgrounds, more characters and crazy combo.
Anyway, I personally like ClayFighter 2 as I liked it when I was young, even if it looks like or was a bad game back in time.
