Well I got it of her transformation as a metaphor for my own personal transformation. If you've watched all 200 episodes, you would notice how Usagi matures gracefully throughout the series. I find that the tat is symbolic of my personal transformation, perserverance, and maturation I have endured over the course of the past few years. I find that I identify personally with Usagi and like her believe strongly in "standing for love and justice". I also would do just about anything for my close friends.

will do and that is a very well thought out reason, definately worth the permident factor of a tattoo, and ya I made my fiancee sit down and watch all 200 episodes in japanese with me so he'd understand what I'd be talking about when it came to sailor moon LOL Ya I'm a lot like usagi, with the naive and believing in love will conquare all, and as little violence as possible thing, but Sailor-V is my favorite ^_^

I am getting the 5 inners, on my lower back. The image I'm using is one from the one of the artbook collection's I have. All the girls are only wearing their necklaces and it's shoulders and up. But I'm making the colouring different from the anime colours I'm doing it so mar's hair is red, jupiter's green, venus orange-yellow, moon's white, and mercury's blue. But I won't be getting that tattoo until I'm done having kids because I want the option of an epidural LOL. I am also getting a sailor moon "themed" braclet tattoo with my daughters name in it. She also loves sailor moon (she's 2)
oh wow awesome I like the idea for coloring of the hair to match their signature auras...make sure you get a tattoo artist that is familiar with anime...because it is easy to botch up their faces...i've seen some less favorable SM tattoos in my day...that's why I took the safe route and got a silhouette....if I find someone who I really trust and has done anime work before then I might get that image of Usagi whose nude with wings...with a pensive expression...ala this one [link]

ya my new tattoo artist has a fair bit of samples of anime tattoo's (probably part of why I picked him) and the whole tattoo parlor is japanese themed, it's like, heavenly, I wish I could show you, maybe I'll ask to take some pictures lol!!!

my daughters braclet is based off this [link] I asked blkmagic if I could use it for that reason and got the okay, it was so perfect cause my original idea fell apart when I tried it out in sharpies on my arm, twas not as "elegant" as I wanted, but when I saw that it was perfect!
