No, suprisingly i didnt, you have to frequently take little drips of the hooves with a brush while its still wet, and sort of have to take any excess off around the nostrils and eyes and suff as i think maybe the paint was a little too think

also if you don't wanna make up so much paint that you can dunk the whole pony you can spoon it over from bottom to top XD
