Hmm, there isn't much to tell with this one either. Honestly, I don't usually come up with fully fleshed stories for my paintings. I mostly just do them for the visuals.

But the theme for the contest was Natives of the Lifeless Forest. So the little Fly Girl is sitting with a dead warrior and enjoying his company. And meanwhile, her little larvae friends (who will eventually grow up to be flies like her) snack on the poor guy.

I don't know if the guy just wandered into the Lifeless Forest and died. Or if the Fly Girl lured him in. I never did decide on that.
