Comment on Are my digitally-coloured pictures coming across as too dark? by Absolute-Sero

Maybe this is something that'd be fixed by seeing them on another monitor.. but I don't trust my laptop, as it tends to make things very pale (all my very bright pictures done in SAI are most likely from my laptop XD). And I guess I'm not sure what everyone else's settings are?
I find I don't get dark pictures to look the way I want. I'm thinking it could be my settings. Or I'm just neurotic about it.
