It all seems too weird to me to listen in English, I've tried but it doesn't feel right. I can't watch Sailor moon and Pokémon in any other language than Swedish though since I saw them as a kid and now they just sound weird in other languages ^^;

Some are really well done in English. Some were half-assed and it shows.

I think it all depends on what one is used to when it comes to dubbing and subbing.

Swedes just dub kids shows and nothing else, I watch French movies in French... so the only movies I really watch in Swedish are the Disney classics I grew up with (no I don't watch Swedish movies, they suck - 99.9% of them), the new Disney (and Pixar and such) I watch in English with Swedish sub.

For me it's weird to see Japanese culture and listen to them speak English, I've tried it just clash in my head. It feels wrong. It's like watching Disney's Mulan in English - all the voices are wrong because I'm used to the Swedish voices.

Once you get used to it one way it is really hard to go another. I originally watched Tenchi in Japanese with English sub, then years later I couldn't tolerate the English dub version because the voices sounded so wrong. Especially Ryoko who in Japanese was a young girl, but in English was really old sounding, or maybe a heavy smoker...
