I think the more you read, the easier it gets. Although I've done plenty of reading, and I'm still rather slow xDDD I love reading regardless though. Sometimes, if I'm really into the story, I'll eat a whole book in one day XD But it depends. :giggle: My reading skills depend entirely on my mood that day. xD

I really have to analyze textbooks. I'm not  sure why xD I get so confused by all of the new words and definitions, that sometimes I have to read it like 2-3 times just to understand it. Even when I do understand it, it can all seem lackluster sometimes, unless it's about a subject I'm interested in, like psychology / sociology.

I guess what I mean, is that when I write, sometimes I don't visualize it as clear as I want to xD I can place all of these words that paint a picture for other people, but for me I'll read it, and it won't paint a picture in my head. People have called me really good at imagery, and for me it's like: I don't know. XDDDD

I agree! XD
Right on, I feel you there. It totally depends on my mood and the plot of the book as well. The vocabulary and word structure have to flow in such a manner where I know I am imagining something real within the fiction.

Uh huh. For me, like I've said, I just retain the key words and definitions and nothing more. The rest is just a great big pile of bullshit filler.

Funny how the process seems to be for us artists in different mediums. I do the same thing with music, visual arts, and literature. I'll start throwing ideas onto my "canvas" and from there, I continue to do so until I get into a groove of similarly themed ideas working in tandem. It's a very fun process and it makes me feel good when a finished product arrives from my labour and love. I'm sure you can relate.
