...they got to be. They are giving Daily Deviations to just about anything. I've been following the deviations for the past two weeks and although some are good, all the traditional mediums have been awful. What type of drugs are the adminstration on: Acid, Pcp, Shrooms, CRACK!!!!!!??

Not just that one, others too that aren't that great. I saw a selfie in the DD section once aswell. I don't think it takes a genius to realise just about anything can get a DD these days...
I'm not too wild about selfies but typically I find it a bit easier to try suggesting something instead.

the technique is trite. If I did that same painting people would call it shit. DA is a popularity contest. It would be nice to get a DD but I know that will never happen.
I wouldn't call it trite, based on the definition I just found from google because I know the word, but only from context and sometimes you don't always know exactly what it means so I thought it might be useful to find it out before judging it based on "trite".
If you used the current style you have and painted it with correct/attractive proportions at least, people might think better of your work and someone might even want to suggest it.
Once again, I like some of your mark-making, but the marks all together don't always make something nice.

Also one day I want to get a DD just to prove its meaningless because my art is kinda poopy. Really DDs are just basically hyped up feature journals, they aren't actually a representation of the best art on the site.

Yes. The guardian showed them, and the artist was annoyed, because he had so many cool non-drug related portraits, which had no publicity.

10 mg of adderall probably isn't enough to get a high off of unless you have a super-low tolerance to drugs.

You can definitely tell which ones he was totally knocked out on, though. Maybe he does have a low tolerance, a few of those are drugs from the hospital.
