The grossest for me has probably been the temporary congestion diseases. Those can get pretty gross when it's time to expel what's been clogging your nasals.

Not sure I've seen one of those..but, if I can't self medicate enough, I go in and get some antibiotics. ^^

I have a friend who had something similar, she had to take (steroid) meds at least every other day until she got this surgery done?

More like recurring bronchitis I think. Even colds all seem to turn into that.
