hee, no worries! It makes me happy that I might have advice for another Princess Tutu

I made my own pattern by tracing a ballet-costume bodice I already owned and pinning it until it fit right (it took a few tries!) If you're looking for a pattern I would suggest looking at prom/wedding dress patterns (something like this: [link] ). They have simple, elegant bodices without too many seams. You can probably edit the neckline/back as needed to to match Princess Tutu without too much trouble - just cut the pattern out of muslin, sew it together and pin it on so you can see where it needs trimming. Tutu.com also has ballet-bodice patterns for purchase ([link]) but they're expensive and personally I don't think you need _that_ level of accuracy for a cosplay.

Also, I used plastic boning, which you can buy in most fabric stores, but I would actually recommend NOT using this as it quickly got kinks and made the bodice all wrinkly looking Instead (and I used this for the next bodice I made) I would use spiral steel corset boning ([link]). You probably need to buy it online but it's very flexible and still holds the bodice up.
