I have a quick question... what type of proportion do you use? 7 head height? 8? these are the most common I've found but the 8 seems to yield nicer results

I kinda go by feeling alone but I do closer to a 7. A few years ago I drew things on the more stylized side and I was doing more like a 6 then.

The whole head counting thing is really just to get you in the right ball park. Just go with what looks best/right when you are drawing

I've recently started drawing without worrying about that too much and am happier with the results. Especially since I hadn't drawn anything good in weeks
