yep I heard it from a friend that's really deep into the fandom but he told me the reason why they became the ghostricks was because of vampire lord in fact literally the entire story was about him there's even a part where he gets tricked into going to toon world by accident so hopefully maybe somewhere in the future they'll be a toon vampire lord but the most amazing thing that shocked me was madolche which is ghostrick witch.
Okay, but just because magiline and Ghostrick witch look the same, doesn't help explain how any of the others became Ghostricks like Lantern, Yeti and Ghoul xD

Well Mummy can be explained a little bit not all of them were Madolche some of them were brought from around the world you know the card Ghostrick Museum because that's where Mummy came from. Others like Frankie were made from hand the only one that is still a Madolche is Mewfeuille the little idiot thought would be fun to scare people so he dressed up as a ghost but now he cant take the Damned costume off so now he's Specter but in reality he's not. Plus no one knows who Ghoul might really be. But there's a rumor that everyone thinks it might be Butlerusk. And to think this all happened because Hootcake had to be nice to vampire lord.

I don't see how Mewfeuille can become Specter. And Butlerusk is a bit tall to be Ghoul.

well my friend if I could find the actual lor that yugioh made up I could show you but since I can't operate the Wikipedia so well I guess you'll always be skeptical of me. but I will tell you this the magic and Trap Cards they tell the stories for the monsters themselves because of vampire Lords story he was branded by the mark of the Rose for trying to woo rose princess the reason why he went to go live with the Madolches it's because he got kicked out of his castle by the other vampires because he couldn't control his powers right that's the gist of his story.
I actually have a different lore theory for the Ghostricks actually xD
OH there was one more thing I forgot to mention after vampire lord left the Madolches he decided he wanted to harness his powers more I forgot how he did it but it was something that he did in the shadow realm any became vampire Genesis in the end
