No, it is her own rendering of well-known works.
Although the art-piece itself is her own work,
the design, idea, and copyright go to the original artist.

dA doesn't mind if you post your own representation of another artist,
but you cannot have another artist's respect and acknowledgement without sourcing.

These works may just be school projects, since copying famous artists while in
high school is common for art teachers to have their students practice,
but that does not give the artist copying the original works the right to post without credit.

There is a fine line here, so many may have different opinions,
but I don't think she needs to take it down- just source her work. c:

I think that this is less of a rendering and more of a tracing or an exact replica with a few filters. And AT LEAST they need to give credit.

My mistake. I thought that they were just photoshopping it, not re-doing it in another media, but looking closer you can tell they aren't the same picture. In that case, the artist should be proud that they can get it so close X3

But yeah, they probably should be crediting the other artist. Since they didn't change the name from the other piece, I don't think they meant to cause any harm.

i agree to the fact she should credit the original artist and don't doubt her art could very well be school projects but it seems like she traces. Just of how exact the originals and hers are it seems possible, but don't hold that too me cause i could be wrong.

Well, if you look at them closely or overlay them, you can see there is subtle difference in the whole piece, and some major difference in things like the eyes or the thickness of the face.
