I'm really heartened by your response, it is exactly what I had hoped for but did not expect, it shows that there is still hope yet.

I left a very similar message on this group's front page three days earlier than this one. When the Founder contacted me, he eventually persuaded me to rejoin the group as Co-founder so that I could get the group going again.

That was nearly eight weeks ago and it has been a lot of hard work but the group is now running successfully again. It seems to me, that if your circumstances haven't changed, you have the same problem. You need to find someone who is willing to work hard to get your members back.
