I used to be able to submit 8 icons daily, but it just recently informed me I can only submit 3 daily.
Deviantart then changed the conditions maybe. May also be that our Admin (TheProphetman) has reduced the individual Devitation uploads.
In and of itself I find the reduced upload any better. We must, after all, view all uploads and assess whether we accept it or not. As much comes together in a few days. There's not been our aim to accumulate massive icons, just the best!
I think it would be better if many individual game icons of the same type would be packed in packages together as a collection.
