Hi, i asked a couple of weeks ago if you can point me in the right direction on how to make my own icons for elementary os and you said to remind you 10 days later,well here it is 
im trying to convert windows 7 .ico icons along with some elementary icons and some icons of my own into one pack for my personal use on my machine, any help would be appreciated.

Converting .ico is not an option, you will have to redraw the yourself. For the rest you can fork numix-circle for your local theme and follow it's infrastructure if you're gonna rely on .svg, if you're gonna use .png for moka, However beware you will end up with design mishmash by mixing so much styles and it will start looking ugly.
My advice is - if you're not a designer do not try to do an icon pack, just don't. You will create something bad. Pick one from the existing ones and sue it. Icon packs like numix, moka and flattr are really well designed and you will enjoy using them.
