He was. A show champion at his age was awesome. The greatest horse you would ever want to ride. so responsive to a rider.
Managing a horse farm that had become run down was a job you wouldn't believe. Out of one stall alone we took so many wheel burrows of manure it lower the flooring down 2 feet. How the horse in that stall kept from getting an infection I never knew. We also had some of the quirkiest owners you have ever seen. Never satisfied for one moment. I was also pregnant at the time and that was fun in itself. Besides riding Arzues I had the pleasure of riding and showing a Lippanzer.
I have always said riding one of them is like going from driving a Volkswagen to a Cadillac in ride. I know that sounds silly but it's true. I have a lot of regrets about leaving that job. I have no idea what happened to Arzues or Favory. I was able to buy one of each of their foals. I actually owned 3 of Arzues'. I think I may have a picture of one of them. I'll have to look at see. Will post if I find it. Oh well thoughts that should be let in the past I guess. Sometimes they bring a lot of pain.
Thanks for letting me ramble about my horses and the great one, Cass.
