Is it ok to ask if some events in the comic are based on real life? (e.g. scuba diving minus the fighting) XD

It's been a long time since I did any diving but when I was young (like 30 years ago) we did some diving on a trip to Florida.  Is that what you were interested in knowing? :)

I suppose so :> I'm also interested in how the idea for 'Footman and York' came about heh

Footman and York is the result of role playing in Second Life.  I am part owner of a sim there called "River Heights" and the main role play group there is called "Girl Detectives in Trouble"; GDiT for short. :giggle:  The theme of role play is kidnapping and peril and some of my ideas are the result of playing there.  EnglishDamsel 's gallery contains a wide range of screen captures from Second Life and some of my stories are done that way, too.  Here, I recreated characters we have both used for play in Poser and the story is pretty much my own work.

The style and peril has to do with going to Saturday matinees at the theater at the end of my street when I was a little girl (may 9 or 10 years old).  Part of the matinee would always be one of the old serials like "The Perils of Nyoka", "Zombies of the Stratosphere", "Radar Men from the Moon" and others.  Mix that up with TV characters I loved like Lois Lane from the old "Adventures of Superman" show and Honey West....  I suppose you get the idea. ;)
