Hey dude. Was out at my local Walmart one day and low and behold, a random leader class Sky Shadow shows up out of the blue.

Sadly they didn't have anything else, but this bad boy definitely makes up for it and might possible be a contender for my favorite leader class Decepticon that's been made in recent memory. I would highly recommend the figure if it ever shows up in your area.

I indeed would love to have TR Sky Shadow. So, how does TR Sky Shadow feel in hand? Also, do you agree that his jet half is really accurate in design to his original toy?

But man do I have dilemma.. Which to pick; either TR Sky Shadow or.. Him.

He feels great. Nice, sturdy, and one of those times where I can justify the price point for a leader class figure.

I don't know, but I want that Overlord. Still need to pick up Sixshot and I should have just about all the leader class figures that's been released so far in this line up.

Are you going to work your custom paint magic on your TR Sky Shadow?

Oh! Do you agree with me that TR Sky Shadow mold would work to re-create TF Energon Megatron; jet part been painted on TF Energon Megatron paint and tank part in TF Armada Megatron colors.

At this point I would be better off finishing off whatever figures I originally started on. Though can you really blame me for feeling that Titans Return ended up featuring some of the most detailed molding we've ever seen when it came to old character updates? Crikey! I've managed to put a ton of work on just Weirdwolf alone and I'm still noticing spots that could use a bit more paint, even though I must have used at least 10 different colors. I'm actually examinining the figure right now and I see that I still need to tackle both the hands, parts of the headmaster unit, weapon accessories, etc.

While I do agree that Sky Shadow could make for an interesting Armada/Energon Megatron update. Personally I'd rather we get a Thunderwing retool out of this mold since I've been wanting to get rid of the deluxe version for some time now. That mold has not aged very, even if it does have slightly more articulation than the newer leader class figure.

Indeed, it would be cool to get Thunderwing that can split into tank and jet.

Though, I really wish that Titans Return wouldn't just yet wag the finish line flag as A) Hasbro has been able to do well designed main robot and vehicle modes due headmaster gimmick and B) there is still TF characters that should be released in TR line.

For example: TR Legends Class Beachcomber since there hasn't been updated G1 Beachcomber since 2008 TF Universe line.

I know. This is easily one of my favorite lines so far after the over-saturation that was Combiner Wars and its 10+ retools/recolors for each individual mold. Its definitely a good line when even the $5 (here in the states) titan masters actually turn out to be worth the money thanks to the simple fact that I at least get myself an extra weapon accessory while at the same time given the way they're engineered leads to all sorts of wacky scenarios. In other words, we've finally reached the point in collecting where we can have Transformers figures ACTUALLY play with themselves like they were re-enacting scenes from various 1950s monster flicks.
