Wow the pictures of the South Bronx are wonderful I GREW up on st ann"s avenue in the 50'S when it was beautiful we could go to sleep on the stoop and no one would bother us and we were little girls, I went to P.S. 65 on Cypress and 141 street it was not called Bloody Cypress it was such a nice block and St. MARY'S PARK we played there every day, we went swimming in the summer at the center and learned to cook and play table tennis or ping pong, I loved my block St Ann's Ave bet 141 and St. Mary's Street. Learned to smoke sitting on a rock in St Mary's PARK when I WAS 12, THANKS FOR THE PICS THEY brought back so many God memories even though it looked crazy bad. What happened to my neighborhood. I am 65 yrs. now living in California, I wanted to go see the old neighborhood next month so i thought i would go online to see how it looks W0w was i surprised
