"Ugh."
Melissa crossed her arms and looked away from the Interpretor, having no intention on shaking her hand - or, whatever it was.

The words 'Pleased to meet you' echoed in her head. Yeah, right. Who would want to meet someone like herself?

"How's it any of your business?" She snapped. "You don't need to know why I'm here."

The onslaught of rudeness didn't phase The Interpretor in the slightest. In fact, it made her even more curious.

"Ah, you share my condolences. I am often asked how I am feeling, or how I am going, when I'm just a robot. Silly people."

Melissa sighed. "Whatever."
She looked around for a moment.
"Why are you here, anyway? I realize you asked me the same question, well..."
She shook her head. "...I don't really have a reason for being here."

"What am I doing here, you ask?" The Interpretor repeated. She wasn't quite sure, herself.

"I suppose... I find it calming here. Just the occasional body, but other than that..."

She was still a bit curious about the girl sitting next to her. The Interpretor wasn't a very good judge of character, but she could tell black from blue.

"Is something the matter?"

Melissa sighed. There was probably no way out of this.
"Well..." She shook her head. "I used to have a sister...back then, I was kind of...rude to her."
She paused, trying not to look upset, like she was.
"Now...I don't know where she could be...perhaps you wouldn't understand."
She started to wonder if maybe she shouldn't have said that just now.
