Yes, yes the are...

Soon the forces of rightful queen will have gathered enough strength to liberate her captivity and retake Equestria from the tyrant who has ruled for the past thousand years!

slow it, the forces we have are too small for a plan like that
tdlob's avatar
In due course my pony, give me one year and I will have raised an army the likes Equestria has never seen!
ImaBeaver's avatar
but violence breeds violence, we must solve the issue with force but not an army

One's words cannot have weight and "force" behind it unless a far greater power resides behind them. If we do not have power, if we do not have an army, if we do not have any form of military might our words will mean nothing. Celestia will mark us up as little more than trouble makers and have us removed, never to be seen again. Luna, our queen, will be once again banished for another thousand years and life in Equestria will continue as it always has.

But if we use an army to seize the pwoer we will be seen as an ivading force of a sister tryign to get more power. Our authority over the ponies will be worthless for they will see us as the wrong side

Aye, you have a valid point there and I truly do wish a transition of power can be peaceful and without bloodshed. Yet, I am still not willing to hand over another thousand years to the Celestial tyrant. If diplomacy fails I will be there with my army, we will support the rightful heir Luna, and we will crush any pony that would deny her return as the ruler of Equestria.

That is not wise. Many ponies stll believe in the split power of the two, and many will not join for Luna. If we crush all of them then we will doom society. And if we did that, what seperates this from the spanish inquistion or the bloody acts of queen mary?
