The TTV Message Board 'Tips To Start MOCing'. I was looking around to see if anyone was giving good advice on making waists for mocs. I'm re-doing a MOC because I wasn't happy with how loose ball joint waists are.
Oh right I remember that thread. I stopped going to the TTV message boards. loved the site, but they're a bit overbearing with their moderation and the demographic there wasn't great either, bunch of kids from Biotube which is to be expected.
I don't do well on forums. I don't think speech should be as moderated and censored as they tend to be on forums. You give people the power to censor opinions they don't like and you get people who think they can control the whole community(BZP). That's why I mostly stick to open sites like DA, Flickr or Instagram, no one can moderate what I have to say.

I think there's certain merit to give to places that have moderation (especially because you can't do things like dealing with harrassment when there's no moderators at all), but seizing control of a community so they all have to follow your opinions is dumb.
