With your permission, I'd like to use the Olympus-class Battleship in a fan fiction story that I am typing.

And the Badger and Icarus class also exists in the Prime Universe, too, right?

And I know the Luna class is technically canon, but I'd appreciate your blessing for using her as well, non-the-less.

The story I'm typing is to involve large scale battles, and I wanted have as diverse a fleet as possible.

 Thanks for your time.

Okay, thanks for a quick reply!

And yeah, I'll not only refer to you, but also include a link to your artwork so that readers will know what the vessels look like.

And is the Olympus, Badger, and Icarus Slipstream capable? I could go into explaining that part of the plot, but let's just say Quantum Slipstream-capable vessels are going to play a big role. I don't want to list them as such unless you, their designer, can confirm that is within their specs.

I also intend to make up new names and registries for these designs, some of which will be destroyed in battle, if that is okay with you (as well as finally give the U.S.S. Icarus and U.S.S. Badger their own registry numbers).

I'd also like to be able to use the Federation One. I know that this is a high order, and you'll probably have to say no, not only because she is was designed by another fan fiction (based on the authors of the Hidden Frontier no less), but also because a part of the plot for my story has the Federation One modified for Quantum Slipstream travel (the deflector being more like the Vesta's, curved pylons for the nacelles and holding up her escort, and nacelles replaced with either units that are curvier, or customized with a curvier "shell" for more stable travel, as well as heat vents.

In the plot, the President travels to one of the invasion points to open up a dialogue with the enemy. Of course, travel from Earth to the near the Romulan Border would take 713 days (assuming she can cruise at warp 8), since the distance (by my estimates) is in the region of 2000 light years (more or less, I haven't found a map that lets me come up with a more accurate measurement).

Of course, I have a back-up plan if using and modifying the Federation One is unacceptable: use a Vesta, Spirit, or other Slipstream capable vessel (and say that the bean counters/bureaucrats didn't want the Federation One upgraded because it would be resource intensive and take a long time, since modifying the Voyager was time-consuming enough).

You've already been gracious enough. So I hope I'm not pushing things.

 Thanks again for your time!

Edit: I've changed the registry number of the Badger from NCC-81000 to NX/NCC-80585 (as a reference to the Hermes. Seems fitting, since she is a scout), in order to not contradict the registry number of the Federation One (also 81000).

 Hope that's not a problem!
