Hey, thanks a lot! I'm also self-taught and of course it took many years of practice to become that good (I started with acrylics more than 18 years ago and I think I can still improve my skills). But painting in a more or less realistic way is always much work - an acrylic painting usually takes between 20 to 40 hours to finish, some of my paintings even took more than 60 hours. Good luck on achieving what you wish for!
