Heya! I messaged you aaages ago about a live-reading of MuTT me and a group of death note fans were doing via tumblr, ANYWAYS,, I've moved fandoms and me and a friend who fucking love the MuTT 'verse are thinking of doing the same thing for the manga (and currently airing anime) Kakegurui!
Like, we took a couple of scenes from MuTT after re reading it and swapped some names after I jokingly was like ahh I wish this was Kakegurui ..
and we ended up assigning characters from KG to the MuTT/DN chars and.. kind of went from there writing some stuff.
Anyways, at the moment I thought we should probably stop and ask if it was OKAY with you if we kind of convert your fic into the kakegurui verse?
It'd be posted on Ao3 with the written for/inspired by Lyson's MuTT of course, and atm we are
-breaking the plot down and rewriting to fit KG
-writing some extra characters in
-rewriting scenes to fit KG
-writing new scenes for the plot since it deviated from your fic
So the finished product will be mostly like MuTT but with major changes to plot and scenes, (and characters and other obvious things) etc. but I just wanted to run it by you before we go ahead and keep writing stuff for it?
don't know if you'll see this on dA/ how active are sooo I'm just gonna send it to ya on a couple different sites and hopefully get a response
and if its a "yeah go ahead!" then fyi you can basically tell us what is/isn't okay, e.g like completely plagiarizing scenes (which is what inspired it LOL but we are reworking the plot so thats not something we're doing it's just... dubious when you're writing an AU fic.. based on an AU.. for a completely different fandom)
anyways, hopefully it's a yes! respond on w/e platform you see this message first I guess, I'm active pretty much everywhere. and hope all is well with you!
