so I'm drawing again if you can't tell after all the submissions i've done lately. It helps with artist like your self that put out such awesome photographs and have descent models and high quality photos to practice from. I've toyed around with color some lately and have just come to terms that maybe I shouldn't try to color. I destroyed a picture with pastels over grahite. If any of you have advice on how to color over a heavily shaded graphite drawing i'm all ears. I have a few pieces I would like to see in color but graphite seems to fight me every step of the way. I know of a method but I don't have a printer at this time so I can't try it out. My thoughts scan the photo after its done reprint it then color over the printed version of the picture. Then there's not graphite to spread. But scanning a picture that's 11x14 is hard and the only other option is to use my cell phone (iphone 5). Which is the current way I take my photos of my drawings. I'm knocking on over 300 pieces in my portfolio now. I get my subjects usually from google image searches so if any of you see something i've done and recognize it for a particular photographer please let me know so I can credit them.
