I'm always looking for book recommendations and the title kind of sounds interesting!
Well it's about this 17 year old girl named Alice Proserpine living pretty much all her life on the road with her mother; always trying to avoid the bad luck that's been biting at their heels, up until her grandmother who was a reclusive author of pitch-dark fairy tales passes away in her estate called the Hazel Wood, and Alice's bad luck is only just beginning when her Mother is taken by a figure who claims to be from the cruel supernatural world that her grandmother had her stories set in. The only lead that she has is from her Mother herself, a note that says:
"Stay away from the Hazel Wood."
It's a pretty great book so far, I'd definitely recommend it!
