I do have a tablet, but probably painted less than 10 images with it.
Then I lost the pen.
In most deviations I wrote what tools I used (Gimp/mouse for most of them)

I think your photo manipulations are perfectly in the DA spirit.
And many people like such deviations. I just don't care too much for them.

I like to buy a tablet, but they are so expensive (in my opinion)...
Are you working with PC or Mac? (Gimp is working on both, or not?)

I work with a PC. In the windows version tablets don't work properly as far as I know.
Maybe it is fixed in the new version but I don't think so.
The tablets don't have to be big. The brand just has to be Wacom.
The big advantage is the pressure sensitivity. A mouse doesn't have that.
A Wacom Volito is more than worth the money. It comes with Painter Classic btw.
"The latest image" heisst: "das neueste Bild".
Und ich glaube im Englischen sagt man "the last image" nur, wenn es das letzte Bild überhaupt ist.
Also wenn kein neues mehr kommt.
Aber jeder weiss eh in beiden Fällen was gemeint ist.

War im Juni (oder Juli) auf der MAc Expo in Köln, und die haben da die WACOM Tablets vorgeführt. Einsame Spitze was man damit alles machen kann. Ich werd mir vermutlich eins holen wenn ich nen neuen Rechner kaufe...
Was für ne Größe empfiehlst du denn?

Kann da leider nicht viel dazu sagen. Ich kenne ja nur das kleine Volito.
Das Graphire3 gibt es glaub auch nur in 2 Großen. Also kaum ein Unterschied.
Da ist aber ein bischen mehr Luxus drin als im Volito. Der pen/stylus zum Beispiel soll besser sein.
Die Intuos Reihe ist schon fast unverschämt teuer.
Hab schon einige Professionelle gehört, die gesagt haben: "je größer desto besser".
Aber es kommen auch einige mit großen Tablets nicht richtig klar.
