Wow, nine?! That's crazy! I actually used to have an Australian Shepherd, but he ran out of time unfortunately. He was so awesome, but his old age got to him. It was very sad since he had a connection with me and my family. My little baby now is very friendly, but can be very protective when she feels that she needs to be lol.

I don't think my pup will be around much longer, his health isn't as good as it used to be Waaaah! But I'm hoping he'll last at least a few more years. I've had him since he was 1, and I got him from a rescue shelter. Our bond is very strong so it'll be very upsetting to see him go. He's very attached to me and gets distressed when I leave the house.

Aww!! I know how you feel. That's how I was with my old dog. I still miss him to this day. He was an amazing dog that I cherish forever. That's so kind of you! I'm sure you two definitely have a great bond. I had one with my old one and with my current one. She gets upset when I leave the house or when someone rings the doorbell and she is sleeping and wakes up and begins to bark like crazy. I'm also glad to be talking with a fellow dog lover. :)
