Imma be honest, I think my stargate series has fallen flat as well. It was one of those it peaked my interest for a moment but then i lost interest. Part of it is, First I can't get a good plot going for it. And two, with Stargate supposedly set on modern day Earth, it would run into a lot of the same social issues that've wrecked Star Trek and Star Wars and I don't want to write a bunch of morality stories that could potentially alienate part of my audience. I deliberately walked away from both SW & ST because of the identity politics and dealing with Stargate would mean eventually having to deal with that as well. And I don't want to deal with that. We've got enough of that in mainstream entertainment as it is. I don't want to add to it. So the Fifth Race is probably DOA at this point. Sorry if i got your hype up just to derail the hype train at the station.

I've since moved on to look at other possible projects. I'm even considering an original scifi series of my own. It actually shows some potential.
