I've seen it twice
To me it was OK but it just had some potholes
The 1st part felt really rushed and didn't give us much of a chance to take in the new dinosaurs they showed
And with that, the characters were just...bland
Why do all JP Villains have to be motivated by money?

What other motivation is there for imprisoning and making new dinosaurs?

With Mills, probably not the best character to try something different on
What if there was a character that actually cares about the dinosaurs
But puts their lives above humans and would rather save them over her own species, possibly going as far as murdering people to ensure the animals live
Claire really cared about the animals but known that letting them out would mean certain cosequences
Imagine a character that would release the animals and not care how they harm or kill humans

Aside from that, one of the best parts of the movie were some of the characters
I really liked Masie and Lockwood the most

I hope there's something more going to happen with Masie otherwise the who clone thing is pretty irrelevant.
My theory is that Masie has been genetically augmented in some way
She might be smarter, stronger, more resistant to disease
And whatever caused that is in her blood and people are gonna want that to make better dinosaurs
But we'll have to wait til Jurassic World 3 is out

Cause you can't put her in an egg like the dinosaurs
Maybe the old lady in the mansion, iris I think her name was
