Sorry for the really late reply, I just replied on the other comment as well. Anyway, I saw that your favorite genre of music is symphonic metal and it's mine too! My husband and I both love it, and we never meet anyone else who does. ha ha What are some of your favorite bands and have you seen any in concert?
Unfortunately,no, I have never seen any in concert. But, the band's I listen to are as follows: Evanescence, Within Temptation, Nightwish, and a couple of others (but I'm too tired to remember what they're called apparently.) I clips if you symphonic metal as and strong rock and roll music with orchestral instruments, so the range can be pretty broad. And some of these mat not actually be classified as such by society.
Oh yeah, I like all of those although I don't consider Evanescence to be metal, just rock. But I don't get really hung up on what "type" music is for the most part because so much of it can cross over into multiple genres nowadays, and if I like it I listen to it and that's that. ha ha
If you haven't tried them before, I also highly recommend Kobra and the Lotus (not symphonic but so good), Amaranthe ("pop or electro-metal" I guess you could say but also really good, you'll see), and Amberian Dawn. Oh and Xandria and Delain. And Sonata Arctica and Stratovarius. Okay I'm done. ha ha

I'm just always doing something else nowadays. I thought I would have more time for writing, etc, with my new work schedule, but it turns out all that time is just filled up with other stuff I wasn't getting done before. ha ha
