Mmm the best thing I can advise is to practice a lot. It takes a lot of work getting used to a tablet, especially if you've drawn with pencil and paper for a long time. But the more you practice, the more you'll find better ways to do things. Start out by copying pictures that have a style you like, and try to figure out how the artist drew it. When you get more comfortable, you'll be able to draw your own original work using the techniques you learned.
