That's a very good question. Due to my incessant googling for reference pictures nearly every time I draw these characters, I have come across these numerous times. Since I thoroughly knew they existed, I was happy to add them to my large collection of dA icons for people to use. Based on their appearance, I would certainly assume that they are official art. (Actually, there is a LOT of official art that didn't make it into the game, it's pretty surprising...) (With that said, there is one artist I know of who is capable of replicating the official art style perfectly, but we do not speak his name.) If you would like, I could attempt to find the sources to these images for you.
