Oh? I can explain it! And it's really not stupid. I myself figured it out wayyyyyy later haha. Oh and what could also help is visit group's pages, where you can advertise in the comments! (you can determine that by either seeing other people self advertising there or if it's not banned in the rules of the group, which are usually written right on the group's pages!)
That would be lovely if you explained it! Yesterday after your comment i tried and tried and got to submit a few, but maybe i'm doing it wrong? It took me some slithering around.

Alright so!
First things first. You need to view your journal on a browser page of course! Then, on the right side of the page you'll see these sections:
- More from (artist name)
- Featured in collections
- More from DeviantArt
- Featured in Groups (that's the one we need!)
At the "Featured in groups section" you should see a button that says "+Add to a Group". You click on it and a window will pop out.
There are two options: Submit to Group Gallery / Suggest to Group Favourites. Choose the first one.
There are two another options under it: Recent Groups / Type a Group name (I use the second option!)
You type in the groups name, click on "Check" button right next to where you typed it and then choose the folder you want to submit it to! (usually groups have folders for these price journals and the folders can be named: journals, point commissions, commission journals), after you choose the folder you click on "Submit" and it's done! Ohhh,damn! Thanks a bunch! I went to the group directly and searched for my journal in the submit menu. This is much easier tho. I never used this method before, i don't know why, i don't think i even noticed this option, pff. It is very clear!
