Yeah i do want to I'm just waiting a bit longer
I feel a lot more relaxed not having to draw people stuff and i want to develop my style more before people expect amazing things from me
I want to make an almost comic book style but i also want to focus on a bit of realism and not that im expecting a ton of people to want to pay me but i feel like people were mainly asking me for requests was because i wasnt charging for it i was just willingly drawing their stuff

Also i dont really want to be a freelance artist as a career
I currently have a job so its not like im a poor teenager hoping someone will pay me

So yeah i do want to do commissions... eventually
And thank you this information will help me when i get to that point :D

Fair points. As for your comic style... there are groups especially for comics. And most people don't come to dA for work; you gotta be a damned good artist for a full on job here, like Autlaw or Endling or something. Commissions (for me at least, but I write and mainly do concepts and stuff) are just fun t get out of the monotony of what it is I do.

And I am a poor teenager with no job DX Life is cruel, idn't it? (and by the way, when there's a typo like that, it is probably intentional. I like accents in text.)

Yeah i definitely understand the escapism part of it
I usually draw in order to relax myself and not have to think about my actual problems
And the idea of people thinking something ive drawn is cool is the best feeling

Same thing for writing, that's why I worry about feedback. If you don't have someone telling you what you've done is good, then how do you know?

Yeah i absolutely get it
Im awful at writing but i understand the effort and understanding of language that you need to describe the world you want to create
So i totally admire people like you who can write well

Well thank you ^_^ Me, I'd trade it all for the ability to make art. Words describe beauty; artwork is beauty.

Hey anyone can learn to draw with enough practice
My art teacher has told me that probably 15 times

I've tried, can't.
