YEAH. I haven’t been happy with my digital art lately so I went back to learning the basics in traditional art for a while and it’s been such a joy honestly. I plan to carry over my basic exercises into digital eventually, I might post those when I get there.

learning to use a computer tablet and pen is quite a learning curve for me, usually my digital is done by using my fingers on an IPad, haha. Not the best habit to have.

XD omg I had no clue you used your finger! I use it too and I see yeah it can be quite hard but with enough practice you'll get it
Yup! I did! I used Procreate on iPad for a while and got really used to drawing that. Now I'm trying to learn to use Medibang. The learning curve of using a pen with a tablet makes me feel like I'm learning how to draw from square one all over again XD
If I was to ever get a tablet and computer I'll feel the same way but I'm sure with in a couple of days you'd get the hang of it

I can do drawings just using a ballpoint pen but on a tablet everything feels completely different, and you can't quite see where you're drawing. Perhaps it will only take a few more tries but I'm thinking it's going to take me a couple weeks of drawing on it every day to pick it up.
Here's a fun exercise I did in pen with a couple friends where they suggested random objects one at a time, and I had to incorporate them into the picture:

It looks insane but it was the most fun I've had with drawing in a long time XD
