I hope I'm not asking to much but I need some advice on bear anatomy. You see I have a chareter that is a bear hybrid of sorts. His body is based of a kodiak bear. I've been redawing his design multiple times and I still feel like its still off. I also struggle at draw the head at different angles. I just need some tips and advice that can help, I'm sorry if I'm taking up your time. Here is what the character I was speaking of www.deviantart.com/sharkmaster… sorry for the camra quality. I do see what you mean, bears hind ends seem to give people trouble if they haven't drawn them much before. I do have a tutorial here that might help some:

However the best advice I could give would be to look at photos of bears at the angles you need. A good reference can make all the difference. Even tracing some photos for the first few times to get a grasp of the proportions and shapes is ok practice.
