What type of headpiece do you mean?
Well the catwoman one or the batgirl one.
A few hours. The Catwoman one was sewn, except for the ears which took some light shaping. The Batgirl one was built up with tape and cardstock. The important thing is to try it on regularly, don't get too far ahead unless you know it fits right or else you'll have to backtrack a lot.
I work on these over many days when I have a few hours of spare time, but they come together very quickly and start looking like what they're supposed to be.

huh good to know, a couple friends and I are going to be building a lot on the next year for Convergence and possibly Dragon Con.
Ah, cool. I love both of those cons. Next year's CONv theme is one I can actually tolerate. I think this past year's really missed the mark they were going for and ended up as the most sexist belittling theme.

I agree on the CVG and I can't wait for next year. I have never been to Dragon Con but my sister lives two hours out of Atlanta so I can visit her and go with her to the con.
This will be my 10th DragonCon and I've been considering shelling out the money for an eternal badge. It's that good.
