Okay, that's interesting. Also cool! We've both seen Opeth now XD When I saw Opeth they told the crowd how Europe is more badass/crazy than Canada :D
Sick to your stomach at a concert? Well, it's good the music helped I guess! :D

Oh no, it's very unusual for a 20-year-old to trick-or-treat ^^; I just love doing it and don't want to give it up. Usually people trick-or-treat until they're 12-15 here. It doesn't seem to bother anyone that I'm out, plus I was with all my friends. I was actually thinking that if I were to visit Germany in fall I'd trick or treat there XD

Did you like them live? :)

See. Here people usually stop between 10 and 12. And many dislike it because it's actually not traditional here.

Hells yeah, they were good! Though the venue was quite small--I felt like I was watching a newer band. But they sounded great live, I could hear all the instruments and even the vocals pretty well. And though a lot of people are saying their recent concerts aren't as heavy because of the new album, I really like the new songs so I thought it was awesome. And seeing them live gave me a new appreciation for White Cluster, which is one of my favourite Opeth songs now :) What about you, did you like them?

Oh :D Now I feel old!
Well, I'm still thinking I'm gonna go trick-or-treating next year too XD I like it too much to give it up, I think. But speaking of celebrating things not traditional to the country, we have a small Oktoberfest festival around here :D

That is funny because for me it was the biggest concert I've visited. And, yes, it was nice but not incredible (as Agrypnie and Harakari for the Sky around 3 weeks ago).

That's funny. What do you do there, just drink alcocohl?
Impure-Soul-2's avatar
Yeah, that probably has to do with the fact that you saw Opeth in Europe instead of Canada XD When I saw Morbid Angel there were barely 100 people there. Metal bands don't get the same turnout here unless they're big bands like Black Sabbath or something. Also, you saw Agrypnie AGAIN? And Harakiri for the Sky? AH YOU SEE SO MANY AWESOME BANDS! D:

Yeah, there's alcohol and music and games for people to play, kind of like a little carnival. And it happens the time of year that some of the cruise ships come in, so there are people from Germany and other countries there. :)

That's an extreme difference!

That's cool. Are there many tourists in your region usually?
Impure-Soul-2's avatar
Yeah, I know! Most metal bands here only get anywhere if they get recognized in Europe or America. XD

Um, there are lots of tourists during the summer when cruise ships make stops and people come to see the ocean, but during the fall/winter and part of spring it's pretty quiet. :) The city I live in is the biggest in eastern Canada (which is funny, because it's a pretty small city compared to others).

See. My region is pretty touristy, in the summer because of the lake and in the winter to ski.
