I don't know if you really should call it Fanbase, but what surprised me was that a lot of people from Germany know Handplates. When I was running around at German conventions in my Handplates!Gaster cosplay many people said "omg, Handplates! Awesome!" immediately.

No, sadly not! In Germany are not Undertale releated conventions, they're for anime/manga. But you see many cosplayers of videogames too, so yeah... Undertale is always very strongly represented at large conventions. But I was very surprised, many people regonized me as Handplates!Gaster
