I will have to leave another group in order to be on yours, how do I do that? I’ve never done that before, but I wanna join and help yours.

Oh, only if you want to. Well, go to the one you want to leave and you should find a button under your username that says 'leave'. I think if you ever want to come back, you should arrange your temporary leave with the admins. Does the request not allow you to join mine anyway? I sent you one for the position of Contributor. You can't admin any more groups? Damn, that sucks.

I’m just gonna keep helping out with the group the way I have been. But tell me how you being in Russia, how do you know about the series anyhow, I’m not trying to be a jerk, but aren’t the things you see watch, read, and wear controlled by the fascists that run the country?

Well, that works as well. If you ever feel like just joining up like more than a member do let me know. :D

Eh, don't know how to reply the last question without writing an essay anyhow. My history with GTS goes all the way back to the movie in 98 - INSTANT LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. Ever since the official collapse of USSR (or so they say, because I was born in 89 and my active passports that I only recently renewed still actually state and I shit you not that I am born in the USSR AND not in Russia; it's just something one of my foreign friends once noticed with shock and I thought I'd share too, so the official narrative might be more than a smidgen misleading ), we have had a steady incoming influx of all things Western for years, including GTS eventually. We still get a steady influx of all things western. There is a market for that and official. It has not stopped a smidgen. I'd say very little gets controlled in that regard apart from censoring LGTB and perhaps what they dub propaganda. Their recent idea these days is to blur out cigarettes and cigars in visual media like films lol. As for the rest of censors, we have the net for objective info. The globalisation demands one homogenous people of one mindset anyhow, so the influx of western content won't probably ever stop. We get pretty much a lot of stuff the west does and the lag times have been getting shorter (stuff like movies and series get here faster and faster despite the need to translate) I had no idea the Godzilla series were even a thing before I saw the second part of the series pilot episodes on vacation in early 2000s abroad. It was more a lack of the information, then censorship, though. They started the censorship only in the recent years, but it's not unique to my country alone. No one insane loves tge idea of an uncontrolled and free medium of expression. The internet was not a thing popular yet and so I had been longing to see more for years before it actually aired in my country in 2005 AND ON TV!!!!!! AND I HAD NEVER BEFORE SEEN IT YET IN FULL. Funny thing: I had erroneously believed for years the GTS Godzilla was female instead. :XD: It wasn't always as easy to just go on youtube and find episodes online back the
aside from screenshots and a few short clips. While it ran on TV, it was a positively orgasmic experience for me. I recorded all episodes save two and a half. And then of course stuff started getting posted online more freely, torrents became a thing, etc.

I'd say the world pretty much watches the same things. Even if things do get censored, there are vpns and proxys to bypass it anyway, especially for the younger generation. The problem with our government is that they aren't any less special than any other. There are fascists in reality the world over if one is woke. It just depends how well they mask themselves. :\

Frankly, I am fed up with politics in general and the open propaganda and only am aware on surface levels about recent developments. I hate watching the news personally. I'd say the attitude towards our own politicians varies: some are pro, others are distrustful of the upper echelons and hate them, but that sentiment is not unique to mother Russia alone. Politics is messy business really. :| Unfortunately, after the messy 'collapse' of the USSR, many Russians have been burned by this or that and many distrust the government in reality. Others of course swallow the poison and believe blindly.
Sorry, but I don't do short replies. I am clinically unable to. :XD: My condolences for you having to read my stuff. :giggle:
