Certainly. Always happy to rant with a fallow fan.
Honestly, not enough information to judge at this point. Several red flags do emerge however.
1) Multiplayer. The strength of LoK has always been in its immersive single player narrative. Annoying block puzzles and clunky battle mechanics may be overlooked or even enjoyed due to the sheer atmosphere of the games. A multiplayer function is very likely to disrupt that in a major way. Almost certainly if it is a Massive Multiplayer game. Oh look....a thousand and one undying Reavers of Souls running about...wonderful. Kinda ruins that whole time spanning epic plot centering around the Chosen of Fate you had going there, hey guys?
That being said: To allow a player to partake in battles of Nosgoth? Now that is tantalizing. Will it be interclan warfare? Sarafans vs Vampires? Ancient vs Hylden? Who knows.
2) Not Crystal Dynamics. Not as big of a red flag since Amy Hennig moved on from the project so long ago but still...going out of house to an as of yet unnamed studio is a bit of puzzler.
On the plus side: ITS LEGACY OF KAIN! The IP yet lives!

well first of all thank you for your reply.
I couldn't agree more, just wanted to see if I'm on the same page about "Nosgoth"
with every LoK fan I have the a opportunity to meet. With Kain being the Scion of Balance
and Raziel playing such a pivotal role in the plot of redeeming a dying world I kinda fail
to see he point (from a narrative perspective)of MMO in that world where most of them would
be scavangers (humans and vamps). If they plan to place it in a different time the only
logical answer, in my opinion, would be the Anciant's war but then again we know how that ends.
Another option would be if they set it somewhere after Blood Omen 2 or Defiance, Vamps vs Humans
but still I'm not convinced. As you said, the good thing is the IP is still alive, I just hope
they don't make this release it's tomb stone...
