Yes. College does tend to make cosplay more difficult. Although I know at least half a dozen other college students who have managed to, in multiple college years, do at least two cosplays for AB... and more if they go to other cons...

I'm sure its doable, I'm just hoping I can get to a sewing machine and stuff xD If not, I'm planning mostly cosplays that have like, suit components so they wont be difficult ;__; What else are you planning?
I don't generally make plans to do more than one cosplay per year. First because each costume requires WORK... and I have trouble motivating myself to do work that doesn't pay me, and second because it's HARD to find characters who wear glasses. Male or female... and I need my glasses (contacts bother my eyes, and my eyes are lopsided in terms of how bad they are - my right eye being almost perfect, and my right being almost blind in its nearsightedness) because without them I get really dizzy and headachy... and I have no depth perception...
On the costume-accuracy plus side, however, I just got new glasses, and they're a closer match to Jade's (being actually gold-colored) than my old ones were. ^_^
