then you'd have a million people complaining why in the case of Gmod why you can't move the hair, did you remember when the octoling hair bone update came out for gmod? Everyone went ballistic because they couldn't use the bodygroups anymore, even though now that the bones were there, theoretically you would have more options than the bodygroups anyway.

Fission's suggestions for SFM also wouldn't work. There's no good way to hide the 'hair' in gmod and the best way that that would be would still leave the collision model intact, so you would still be able to pose the regular hair even if it were invisible. Also, there're no bones on the inklings currently to support the hair, so you wouldn't be able to pose it except leaving it static there.

Fission's SFM versions would have the hair separated and for Gmod which also requires a collision model (lest you want people screaming) so in that case, there would need to be a set of models for each hairstyle, so that would be a lot.

Beforehand there have also been complaints about sharing the SFM models before the gmod ones, gear pack 3 from squidbot would be a great example, everything in it worked fine for gmod yet squidbot refused to officially release it for months.

Gear is likely in an incomplete state (I tried to port it myself by comparing it to Fission, seems he did the regular gear himself and thus rn it'd be impossible until he either wants to or explains how) and legwear isn't in the same position as the hair, but still pretty bad given that you can't really hide the shorts very well (they're tied to that black thing they all wear)
