Pity you had to voice such a hateable character like Brian. :/
Pity? I'm glad I got to be a voice actor, and Brian is actually one of my favorite dog characters so it was an honor to work with my buddy. 
Really? You like Brian Griffin? HOW?! Have you seen what atrocities he's committed in Family Guy?! How can you possibly like him when he has no redeeming traits whatsoever?
Well, I like that Brian is one of the most intelligent characters in the show, he’s quite articulate, and when the Griffins are in a bad situation, not only does he show common sense, but sometimes he cares for his family. Even right before he dies, which was temporary, he says “You've given me a wonderful life. I love you all.”
Plus, he was born in Texas. I can’t ignore that, if he's Texan, that’s fine with me!

So that makes all the horrible stuff he's pulled off in the show such as giving a baby herpes and trying to use his son to advance his career OK then? Just because he's Texan?

That means nothing when the character is among the biggest assholes to ever exist in fiction. You clearly haven't been paying attention to what Brian's been up to lately...
