I know right? But I don't really feel like buying it again, only because I bought a lot of DLC for the game, half of it is already on the cartridge from what I've seen, so you'll have immediate access to it. I believe you get the Universe 6 Saga DLC and Goku Black Saga DLC. 
Well, I did see Goku Black was already in the game!!
Oh okay! So for me he was Day One DLC so I guess the Switch version already has him ready for you like that! As for as story, you probably have to beat the main story first before accessing the additional stories.
I've barely even started!! But I did beat Frieza and Cooler!
